WHY YOU NEED OUR MARKETPLACE PACK

TWO SEPARATE SETS OF WEBSITE TERMS OF SERVICE
We will create two bespoke sets of commercial terms. One set shall clarify your relationship with your buyers and how you expect them to behave on your platform. The other will be for your sellers and will clarify your relationship with them, how you expect them to treat your buyers and when your involvement in their transactions starts and ends.
The reason we recommend you have two sets of terms is because we've often found that some of our clients, prefer not to share with the 'buyers' on their marketplace, exactly how their commercial agreement with the 'sellers' works. For example, if you're charging your 'sellers' a commission, are the specifics of that arrangement something that you want to be sharing with the 'buyers'? These terms can be the making or the breaking of your business and will define the environment which your platform fosters. They are imperative for the success of your company.

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Although an Acceptable Use Policy is not required by law, it is a good idea to have one so that you can be clear with your users about how your site may and may not be used.

WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
As a website owner, you spend an incredible amount of time and money creating your website content and perfecting your branding. Your website terms and conditions will clearly state that your website is your intellectual property and that you will not be held liable for any inaccuracies or outdated information.

PRIVACY POLICY
If you have a website, then you're collecting personal data. IP addresses which are collected about the people that browse your site for example, are considered personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You are also likely to be collecting other information about your visitors such as their name, email etc. By law, you must tell your users what you do with that information, why you need it and how you look after it.
If there's one thing you do for your business today, make it a tailored Privacy Policy. The personal data you collect will vary depending on the nature of your services, your processes and tools. The data you collect will then be processed in various locations depending on what third party services you use such as PayPal, Stripe, Mailchimp, Xero and so your policies must be tailored to your business, Copying from another website is a bad idea.
COOKIE POLICY
Personal Data does not only mean email addresses and names. It means any information relating to an identifiable natural person such as name, location information or online identifier. In other words, although you may not knowingly be collecting personal data, your website still is. In order to provide your users with access to your pages, images and files, your website needs to collect IP addresses as a minimum.
