WHY YOU NEED OUR APP PACK

FACE TO FACE OR SKYPE WORKSHOP (£145 + VAT)

Several other lower cost legal service providers have cut out the personal touch in order to be more competitive. We believe in partnerships not transactions and in order to give you the best possible value, we think that meeting (or video-calling you at least!) is really important. In this exploratory workshop, we will talk about your business, go through your user journeys, understand your business model, pin-point any gaps and then go on to draft you a tailored set of legal documents that are right for your business. Most of our clients leave this workshop saying they feel relieved and some have even said they felt elated (!) - it's like therapy for your business with a lawyer :)

APP TERMS OF SERVICE (£400 + VAT)

These are your commercial terms. They outline your relationship with your users, how sales are made=, what your refund policy is, what happens in the case of a dispute and who to contact if there are any complaints. This is not just a legal document that you must have on your app by law. These terms can be the making or the breaking of your business. Being fair and transparent with your users is key to your success and putting the right protections in place if things go wrong can save you a lot money and angst in the long run.

ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (£50 + VAT)

Although an Acceptable Use Policy is not required by law, it is a good idea to have one so that you can be clear with your users about how your app may and may not be used.

APP WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS (£150 + VAT)

As an app owner, you spend an incredible amount of time and money creating your app and its content and perfecting your branding. Your app terms and conditions will clearly state that your app is your intellectual property and that you will not be held liable for any inaccuracies or outdated information.

PRIVACY POLICY (£150 + VAT)

If you have an app, then you're  collecting personal data. IP addresses which are collected about the people that download your app for example, are considered personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You are also likely to be collecting other information about your visitors such as their geo-location, name, email etc. By law, you must tell your users what you do with that information, why you need it and how you look after it.

If there's one thing you do for your business today, make it a tailored Privacy Policy. The personal data you collect will vary depending on the nature of your app, your services and processes. The data you collect will then be processed in various locations depending on what third party services you use such as PayPal, Stripe, Mailchimp, Xero and so your policies must be tailored to your business, Copying from another app or site is a bad idea.

APP-SPECIFIC COOKIE POLICY (£50 + VAT)

Personal Data does not only mean email addresses and names. It means any information relating to an identifiable natural person such as name, location information or online identifier. In other words, although you may not knowingly be collecting personal data, your website still is. In order to provide your users with access to your pages, images and files, your website needs to collect IP addresses as a minimum.
